Governor Appoints ProEnergy QC Program Manager to Board
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has appointed ProEnergy Quality Control Program Manager, Brian
Maddux to the Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Rules. The board, overseen by the Division of Fire
Safety in the Department of Public Safety, interprets statutes and rules and develops rule changes relating
to the safe construction, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of boilers and pressure vessels in
Missouri. Maddux has been nominated for a term ending in September, 2015.
To help ensure the safety of the citizens of Missouri, the Division of Fire Safety issues approximately
20,000 certificates of inspection each year for boilers and vessels in service throughout the state. Hot
water heaters, hot water and steam heating boilers, air compressor tanks and pool heaters all fall under the
board’s review.
Maddux has worked with ProEnergy for 6 years, bringing over 25 years of experience in the field of
welding. As Quality Control Program Manager, he is responsible for maintaining the quality and
reliability of ProEnergy’s products, services and construction installation.
